About me

Bio
I was born in Cuneo, Italy, in 1991. As a child, my ambition was to be either a
firefighter or a football commentator. I later set these ambitions aside and started
to study languages.
I fell in love with Spain in 2004, when I visited for the first time and found that the
stories my grandfather had told me about that country were true. Ten years later,
Spain became my home. Firstly, I lived for a while in Salamanca, where I studied
(honestly, I did!), before later moving to Madrid.
I moved to the Spanish capital in October 2016, just after receiving my degree and a master in Philology and Translation from the University of Turin, Italy, where I studied
Spanish and Russian.
In 2018, I finished a course in the UAM-El País School of Journalism, before
deciding to go freelance, an occupation which, according to some, is a kind of
modern artisan.
Which brings us up to the present day, which finds me still navigating the chaotic
seas of digital information (and disinformation), doing my utmost to maintain my
balance, learn to surf the waves, hold on to the rudder with all of my might and
never let go of it until I have reached my destination.
Always, I strive to work within the bounds of honest journalism, and to be
transparent and respectful for the sake of my readers, as well as that of the
subjects I cover.
